On my way back to the US from India in Dec '07, the customs check was at rush hour thanks to some delayed incoming flights to Los Angeles. Yet the customs officer saw me pulling in my lone suitcase for the check and asked, "You have only one bag? Really?? You are the first such Indian I have seen all day!"

Very telling indeed given the individual's profession and the traffic situation!
No NTR, no nothing! My sum total cutlery including everything I've bought in the US is - 1 knife, 2 plates, 2 steel tumblers, 1 mug, 1 non-stick pan, 1 non-stick ladle, 1 steel ladle, 1 pressure cooker, 1 electric cooker and 1 toaster :| Oh, and 2 spoons and forks.
